日前(6/29星期三)文藻USR的老師來到嶺口國小與學生們一同參與暑假英語營的相見歡。 在炎炎夏日嶺口國小小朋友，趁暑假很認真還到學校來，大家在電腦教室裡開始把電腦打開，架設錄影機還有麥克風耳機，準備迎接7月4號到5號兩天的線上英語營隊。大手小手都動起來，把電腦教室硬梆梆的器材都暖化了，小朋友們看著教材十分地興奮，一個一個都在測試自己的設備是否都沒有問題。教務主任楊智淵也忙著設定連線，方便小朋友可以直接就進入線上教室。調皮的小孩還在電腦上看著自己做做鬼臉，先架設好的小朋友還幫助同伴一起將攝像頭都準備就緒，然後開始對著鏡頭打鬧起來了。 嶺口國小葉鵲根校長主持營隊的相見歡鼓勵同學們的參與，這一次有16位小朋友，11位在電腦教室，2位在家裡上線，另外還有3位小朋友暫時缺席。小朋友們在線上跟課程的小老師開始進行溝通，相見歡的交談自我介紹，彼此認識也開始建立關係。青澀的語音，小老師們開始一一認識小朋友也調整適當的教學方式。忙了一陣子終於小朋友們都知道如何上線跟小老師們互動上課了。小朋友說好期待兩天的營隊趕快到來！

Meet and Greet: Wenzao Fun English Summer Camp at Lingkou Elementary School (by Elodie Hsu; translated by Peter Chou)

On June 29, 2022, teachers from WHC-USR went to Lingkou Elementary School for meet and greet with the students who will be participating in the summer English camp. The children of Lingkou Elementary came to school before the start of summer vacation for a meet and greet of their summer camp teachers from Wenzao University. They started to turn on the computers in the computer classroom, set up the video recorders, microphones, and headphones. They are preparing for the two-day online English camp on July 4th and 5th. The children were very excited to see the materials as they were testing their equipment one by one to make sure everything was okay. The Dean of Academic Affairs, Mr. Yang, was also busy setting up the internet connection so that the children could enter the online classroom directly. the kids who set up first helped their peers get their cameras ready and the naughty kids even made faces on the computer.

Principal Ye of Lingkou Elementary School welcomed the students and guests to the camp and encouraged the students to participate. There were 16 children in the camp, and on this day, 11 students were in the computer classroom, 2 were online at home, and 3 children were absent. The children started to communicate with their teachers online, and they introduced themselves to each other and started to build a relationship with each other. The young teachers started to get to know the children one by one and adjusted their teaching style appropriately. After a busy time, the children finally knew how to interact with their teachers online. The children were very excited and looking forward to the two-day camp!
