2021-2022 柬埔寨國際志工招募辦法 2021-2022 Cambodia International Volunteer Recruiting Announcement.

一、計畫說明(Project Description) 「溫暖白色巨塔的小螺絲釘－文藻國際志工共創就醫無障礙」USR社會實踐計畫，從文藻出發，結合鄰近文藻之醫療院所資源及跨校跨領域合作，並充份發揮文藻外語能力暨國際化的優勢，推動多國語國際醫療志工專業服務、創作多國語故事繪本及文宣品，以及執行第三年的國際志工服務，希冀共創「醫療無國界，就醫無障礙」的願景。本計畫藉由正式課程、非正式課程，以及專業服務，帶領文藻師生與社區/國際組織合作，以增進專業實務及職能，同時落實大學社會責任，增進學生服務社會的價值觀，培育世界公民的國際視野。 “The Tiny Screws of the White Tower – Wenzao International Volunteers for Borderless Medical Care Access” is a Wenzao-sponsored USR program that seeks to combine the bountiful resources of local medical institutions, with the multifaceted and specialized skillset of students at Wenzao University. The goal is to create an interscholastic platform that makes full use of the students’ broad spectrum of language skills and abilities. These students will then be given the unique opportunity to try their hand in the multidisciplinary world of international volunteer medical services. They will work to create an array of multilingual storybooks and texts, and will be instrumental in the implementation of the volunteer program’s third year. The hope is to help achieve the program’s overall vision of “medical care that is both accessible, and without borders”.

二、執行時間 ( Timeframe) 預計2022年8月初 (實際日期待確認後公布) The service is expected to begin in August. (The actual date will be announced after final confirmation).

三、服務地點( Service Location) 柬埔寨茶膠省村莊 Takéo Province in the southwest of Cambodia.

四、招募對象( Recruitment Targets)

  1. 110-111學年度大一-大三及專四、專五的同學，具備良好的溝通表達、環境適應、團隊合作能力。 We are looking for Freshman to Junior students who are currently enrolled in Wenzao with good communication skills, ability to adapt to new environments, and team work skills.
  2. 需參與最少一學期深碗課程 Have to attend at least one semester of Deep Bowl Course.
  3. 願意投入東南亞偏鄉孩童的服務與教學(包含遠距)。 Willing to get involved in servicing and teaching（include distant learning）remote area children in Southeast Asia.
  4. 需全程參與8週的教學訓練以及1102所舉辦的國小周末營隊 。 Must attend 8 weeks of teacher training and 2-day weekend English Camp in elementary school in 1092. 五、費用 (Cost) 1.旅費包括來回機票、住宿、膳食、交通、文化探索(金邊) Overall costs include round-trip airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation, as well as cultural expeditions to surrounding destinations such as Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, etc. 2.參與學生須自行負擔1萬元整(有機會申請補助)，超過1萬元的部分將由學校及教育部USR補助 Students participating in the volunteer program will be required to pay a flat fee of NT$10,000. Any further remaining expenditure will be covered by the school, as well as the USR program itself.

五、國際志工任務( International Volunteer Tasks)

  1. 學期間，與團隊夥伴於週三 15:30-16:30輪流與柬埔寨孩童們英語遠距教學。 Teach English online with Cambodian kids on Wednesday (15:30-16:30) during the semester.
  2. 規劃物資募集活動，協助募集柬埔寨學童學習上所需之物資，並增加國際志工 曝光率。 Through planning the fund raising activity to help collecting school supplies for kids in Cambodia and gain exposure of International Volunteers on campus.
  3. 協助USR計畫團隊活動接待及主持。 Help to assist USR team to host special events when necessary.
  4. 協助醫療團隊當地村莊衛生教育宣導工作  Assist local medical teams to help promote health education in the village.
  5. 執行當地村莊學校衛生教育主題營隊活動  Work with village schools to create camp activities of health education. 6 .執行當地村莊學校課後語言輔導課程活動  Partner with village schools to host after-school tutoring sessions.
  6. 返國後協助舉辦國際志工服務分享活動  Assist to hold sharing activities after returning from overseas service. 六、其他有利條件(請附上佐證資料) The following items are recommended, but not required. (Please attach any supporting documents).
  7. 修習過國際專業服務領導課程 Have taken either of the two school-sponsored mini-courses entitled “Business Management and Professional Services Studies: Medical Service Marketing and Management” (one credit) (#1072 or #1081).
  8. 具國際志工經驗 Have International volunteer experience.
  9. 具教學服務或營隊經驗 Have experience in teaching, or organizing camps.

七、評分標準 (Grading Standard) 1.書面資料審查(申請書、自傳、履歷、英檢成績、相關有利佐證資料等). 40% Application package (include application form, autobiography, resume, and other relevant supplemental materials, such as teaching materials or design works.) 40%. 2.全英語面試 60% All English Interview. 60%
