🌹🌹這學期最後一次教師社群，小螺絲釘團隊很榮幸的邀請到口筆譯界的傳奇人物-楊承淑教授。楊所長出版過許多口筆譯技巧及國際醫療口筆譯研究等書籍，自1988 年迄今，曾從事會議口譯約達 1000 場。2014 年 9 月於輔仁大學創設「國際醫療翻譯學程」，2015 年 10 月又推動創立「國際醫療翻譯協會」並任該會副理事長，是台灣醫療翻譯領域的大師。

疫情之後國際交流與移動勢將更趨頻繁，也必然使人們更加關注跨國的醫療安全與保障問題。然而，跨境帶來國際醫療服務質與量的需求，同時也凸顯醫療口筆譯人才不足的現實問題。

本講座將針對跨國移動與移居者的醫療實務與語言服務，提出市場現況報告及產學接軌等資訊，以及臺灣在國際醫療翻譯人才育成的第一手報告。這是一次難得的機會，竭誠歡迎各位舊雨新知，興有同好者，共與盛會(!)

WHC-USR is honored to invite Professor Cheng-Shu Yang, a distinguished professor in the field of Translation and Interpreting, who has published many books on interpretation and translation techniques as well as international medical interpretational and translation studies. Since 1988, Professor Yang has participated in approximately 1,000 conference interpretation sessions. In September 2014, the “International Medical Translation Program” was established at Fu Jen Catholic University and then promoted as a master’s degree program in 2015. In October 2015, the “International Medical Translation Association” was established and Professor Yang served as its vice chairman from 2015-2017. It can be said that Professor Yang is the forerunner of medical translation in Taiwan.

After the epidemic, international exchanges and movements will become more frequent, which will inevitably cause people to be more aware to the issues of international medical safety. However, these international exchanges will also lead to an increase demand of quality international medical services, which at the same time, highlights the reality about the shortage of medical interpreters and translators.

This lecture will focus on medical practices and language services for international travelers and immigrants, market status reports, integration of industry-university and a first-hand report on the training of international medical translators in Taiwan. This is a rare opportunity. We sincerely welcome all friends, and those who share the same interests, to join in the grand meeting.
