「守護邊境的防疫英雄，從科技防疫談港醫如何保護台灣」(撰文：黃湘嫈/林建勳/周則銘)

🌻2021年7月2日，此次教師社群因應疫情改為線上會議，一開始由廖俊芳老師熱情向大家打招呼，即使疫情期間，仍不減文藻USR小螺絲釘計畫的熱情與努力。廖俊芳老師介紹了今日會議的流程，以及兩年前如何藉由蔡次長清華結識小港醫院團隊，雙方團隊因而建立了深厚的友誼關係。施忠賢副校長也代表文藻大學感謝港醫團隊在嚴峻的疫情下，於最前線所做的努力，站在第一前線守護我們。小港醫院郭昭宏院長為我們帶來科技防疫的主題，首先郭院長向線上的老師介紹自己，以及小港醫院的醫療網絡與服務特性。小港醫院為高醫體系的一員，為南臺灣非常重要的醫療體系。小港醫院位於陸海空的交通要衝，鄰近小港機場，因此成為未來新型傳染包括此次COVIID-19高雄重要的防疫門戶。在過去的登革熱、SARS，到現在的COVID-19，小港醫院一直擔任著防疫守門員的角色，為了台灣與高雄人民努力。因為位於重工業區，小港醫院也擔起了USR大學社會責任中永續環境的部份，致力於環境職業醫學。院長也說到，由於小港醫院區域居民特性豐富多元，從原住民到新住民數量都相當多，感謝文藻USR小螺絲釘計畫提供多國語言的協助翻譯與支持，深獲小港醫院的新住民與志工們的一致好評。接著說到COVID-19的特性，以及快篩與PCR檢測的介紹。院長也建議大家如有疫苗一定要施打，以保護自我健康。在防疫的措施上，寧願多做也不要漏掉。院長更介紹到小港醫院運用科技打造智慧行動效率防疫網，期盼翻轉醫療，推動快篩也可居家做，以簡單操作為主打。COVID-19病毒掃描機取代人力24小時操作，擴充檢疫量。由於夜間急診醫師人力少，小港醫院透過AI智慧輔助判斷，人工智慧胸腔X-RAY異常辨別提醒系統，落實精準智慧醫療，協助夜間醫師快速判別肺炎病徵。小港醫院為了疫情超前部署做了許多規劃，以「社區防疫網」為核心概念，結合「衛政、民政、警政」等系統，建立跨領域區域聯防。院長也說COVID-19對我們最大的貢獻或許是提升了智慧醫療的需求與進步，以往護士需與病人接觸才能測量病人體溫、狀況等等，現在則推出非接觸式偵測呼吸系統、心率偵測等，翻轉傳統醫療，邁向精準健康的智慧資訊。教師社群分享最後由廖俊芳老師與副校長施忠賢代表學校再次感謝郭院長的友誼及支持，為今日郭院長精彩的分享畫下完美句點。

Heroes of anti-epidemic prevention at the border: Seminar about how Siaogang Hospital doctors protect Taiwan through science and technology (by Sandy Huang/ Lin Chien-Hsun/ Peter Chou)

🌻On July 2, 2021, WHC-USR teacher community held an online seminar in response to the epidemic. At the beginning, teacher Melody Liao greeted everyone enthusiastically. Even during the epidemic, the enthusiasm and hard work of the Wenzao Healthcare Communication USR was not reduced. Teacher Melody Liao briefly introduced the process of today’s meeting, and immediately welcomed Dean Zhaohong Guo of Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital to share their efforts at the frontline of the epidemic. Perhaps the epidemic has disrupted many of our plans, but we are fully prepared during this period to face the challenges of the future! Vice President Zhongxian Shi of Wenzao Ursuline University of Foreign Languages also thanked the epidemic prevention staff for guarding us at the front line, and everyone is fighting the epidemic together. Dean Zhaohong Guo of Siaogang Hospital brought us a symposium on scientific and technological epidemic prevention. First, Dean Guo briefly introduced himself, as well as the medical network and service characteristics of Siaogang Hospital, to the teachers present. Siaogang Hospital is a member of the high-level medical system and a very important medical system in southern Taiwan. Siaogang Hospital is located at the transportation hub of land, sea and air, and is close to Siaogang Airport. Therefore, it has become an important gateway to prevent new infections in Kaohsiung, including the COVIID-19. When faced with infectious diseases in the past such as dengue fever, SARS, and now COVID-19, Siaogang Hospital has been acting as a goalkeeper for epidemic prevention, working hard for the people of Taiwan and Kaohsiung. Located in the heavy industrial zone, Siaogang Hospital also takes on the sustainable environment as part of their USR and is committed to environmental occupational medicine. The dean also said that due to the diverse characteristics of the local residents of Siaogang Hospital, from aboriginal to new immigrants, he would like to thank the WHC-USR for providing translation and support in multiple languages. The new immigrants and volunteers at Siaogang Hospital also appreciate it. The talk then focused on the characteristics of COVID-19, as well as the introduction of fast screening and PCR testing. Dean Guo also advises everyone to use vaccines if they are available to protect their health. In terms of epidemic prevention measures, I would rather do more than miss out. Dean Guo also introduced how Siaogang Hospital use technology to build a smart and efficient epidemic prevention network, looking forward to turning over the medical treatment, and promoting quick screening, which can also be done at home. The COVID-19 virus scanner replaces manual 24-hour operation and expands the quarantine volume. Due to the lack of manpower for night emergency physicians, Siaogang Hospital uses AI intelligence to assist in clinical judgment, for example, the AI chest X-RAY abnormal identification reminder system offers precise and intelligent medical treatment to help night physicians quickly identify pneumonia symptoms. Siaogang Hospital has made many plans for its subordinates to advance during the epidemic. With the “community epidemic prevention network” as the core concept, combined with the “health, civil, and police” systems, it establishes a cross-domain regional joint defense. The dean also said that the biggest contribution of COVID-19 to us is to increase the demand and progress of smart medical care. In the past, nurses need to be in contact with the patient in order to measure the patient’s body temperature, condition, etc. Now, non-contact detection of the respiratory system, heart rate detection, etc. have been introduced, transforming traditional medical care and moving towards accurate health and intelligent information. At the end of the discussion, teachers Melody Liao and Vice President Shi thanked the dean for his sharing, and sets a perfect end to Dean Guo’s wonderful speech on scientific and technological epidemic prevention.
