109-2 WHC-USR教師社群饗宴-3

🌹🌹7/2 的USR教師社群，我們邀請了小港醫院郭昭宏院長，蒞校分享「談科技防疫」。郭院長是腸胃內科權威，專攻幽門桿菌相關疾病、肝膽超音波、治療性內視鏡、胃腸道癌症，曾與高醫團隊進行大規模學童感染幽門螺旋桿菌調查，以及推動胃癌防治，尤以視病猶親深獲病人認同。

郭院長致力發展專屬港醫特色醫療，更積極與國際接軌，與日本國立信州大學病院及金澤醫科大學病院互訪，並簽屬合作備忘錄。因應長期照顧趨勢，港醫結合公部門共同成立日間關懷站，積極關懷社區弱勢長者的就醫問題，守護高屏地區居民的生命安全與健康。尤其為了照護小港區三千多位原住民，港醫還特別成立「娜麓灣原住民老人日間關懷站」，聘用原住民照顧員來陪伴長者，讓長者在關懷站能有家的感覺。

因著清華次長的介紹連結，港醫與文藻已建立起2年跨域、緊密合作的夥伴關係！小港醫院開放文藻師生們能夠一起進到社區，落實深耕地方、在地關懷就醫弱勢的移工、新住民、長輩及原住民！藉由文藻USR+港醫CSR跨界、跨域合作中，雙方都能夠真正落實USR及CSR的真諦及願景，同時在追求「永續」發展的目標中更上層樓。

🌹🌹On July 2nd, 2021 we have the great pleasure of inviting Superintendent Chao-hung Guo of Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital, who will lecture on “Technology in Epidemic Prevention”. Dr. Guo is an expert of gastroenterology, specializing in Helicobacter-pylori-related diseases, gastroentero supersonic examination, endoscopic therapy, and gastrointestinal cancer. He has been highly recognized for his work with Kaohsiung Medical University in conducting a large-scale survey on children with Helicobacter pylori infection, for his contribution in advocating stomach cancer prevention, and especially for his loving attitude to his patients.

In addition to developing the features for KMSH, Dr. Kuo actively approaches global networks for collaboration, resulting in such achievements as mutual visits and signing MOUs with Shinshu University Hospital and Kanazawa Medical University Hospital in Japan. Confronting the trend of the long-term care for the elderly, KMSH established a day care center for seniors to address the medical needs of those less-privileged senior citizens and to safeguard the safety and health of the residents in Kaohsiung and Pingtung. In particular, its Naruwan Adult Day Care Center for Indigenous Seniors employs indigenous caregivers to accompany the elderly and give them the feelings of being home.

Due to the introduction by Dr. Chinghwa Tsai, Political Deputy Minister of Education as well as Wenzao’s former Vice President, Wenzao has been able to collaborate closely with KMSH over the past two years on the basis of a cross-disciplinary partnership. KMSH offers Wenzao faculty and students the opportunities to engage the local communities through providing services such as health care for the migrant workers, new residents, the elderly, and the indigenous people. Through the cross-boundary and cross-disciplinary cooperation between KMSH and Wenzao, both parties have been truly able to fulfill the vision of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and university social responsibility (USR) while seeking improvement in sustainable development.
