「傳愛到柬埔寨，文藻USR國際志工招募活動開跑!」撰寫人:黃湘嫈 Reviewed By: 周則銘、林建勳老師

文藻USR小螺絲釘計畫，四月三十號於至善十二樓會議室，招募並以全英語面試柬埔寨國際志工人選，由廖俊芳、孫韵芳、翁一珍三位老師擔任本次志工徵選面試官。面試過程中，老師們詢問面試學生擔任柬埔寨國際志工的動機?能為團隊與柬埔寨學員提供甚麼樣的技能?面對線上與實體兩種不同的教學方式，教材方面應如何準備?各有甚麼特點?如果願意加入國際志工團隊，需要付出的時間與心力，有辦法配合學習嗎?…等等問題。

面試結束後，老師們也向文藻學生們精神喊話，感謝他們願意踏出舒適圈，前往柬埔寨陪伴偏鄉孩童們成長，也一定能獲得和別人不一樣的經歷與回憶，累積更多教學經驗。廖俊芳老師同時以最溫柔的話語歡迎每一位同學的加入，期待共創許多美好的故事。

文藻USR的小螺絲釘們遠赴柬埔寨為當地偏鄉孩童服務，已持續六個年頭。即使今年因疫情因素的干擾，小螺絲釘們無法如願前往當地陪伴孩童，但仍以線上教學方式持續幫助柬埔寨孩童學習成長，期待為孩子們帶來實質的進步，也期盼小小的力量能幫助推進該國的兒童教育。倘若疫情減緩而穩定，文藻USR計畫於明年八月再次前往柬埔寨，陪伴偏鄉孩童們學習。因此，待國際志工錄取名單公告後，USR老師們將持續訓練新進同學，鼓勵文藻學生自我要求與提升，以便為柬埔寨的孩子們帶來更優良的學習品質與多元發展。

The Wenzao USR WHC held an interview on April 30th for recruiting Cambodian international volunteers. It was held in the conference room on the 12th floor of Zhishan Building. Teachers Melody Liao, Janny Sun, and Janet Weng served as interviewers. During the interview, the teachers asked the students several questions such as: What are your motivations for serving as Cambodian international volunteers? What kind of skills can you provide for the team and Cambodian students? Facing the online teaching and practical guidance teaching methods, how will you prepare the teaching materials? What are your characteristics? If you are willing to join an international volunteer team, you need to put in time and effort. How will you balance volunteering with your studies? …and so on.

After the interview, the teachers shouted encouragements to the Wenzao students, thanking them for their willingness to step out of their comfort zone and go to Cambodia to accompany the children in remote villages. They believe these students will gain different experiences and memories than others, and accumulate more teaching experience. Teacher Melody Liao welcomed every student to join and looks forward to creating many beautiful stories together.

The Wenzao USR WHC has gone to Cambodia to serve local children in rural areas for six years. Even though the USR WHC were unable to visit and accompany the children due to the epidemic this year, they still continued to help Cambodian children to learn and grow through online teaching. They look forward to bringing substantial progress to the children, and they also hope that small forces can work hard to help advance the country. If the epidemic slows down and stabilizes, Wenzao USR WHC plans to travel to Cambodia again in August next year to visit the children in remote areas. After the announcement of the list of international volunteers, USR teachers hope to train new students, encourage the students to improve themselves, and bring excellent learning quality and diversified development to the Cambodian children.
