『藻』到幸福—大手牽小手的100種可能： 3/25國際醫療志工WHC－USR教師社群」(撰文：楊靚紋/邱珏綾 & 邱怡靜教授)

左營國中蔡智文校長、立德國中洪瑞鍇校長、河堤國小王國村校長、旗山國小李紋勝校長於3/25星期四的中午，親臨文藻，由總計畫主持人國企系廖俊芳教授，與文藻各系共42位教授一同研討要如何將國中小課綱與理念安排連動到大專院校，使在文藻大學生與中小學生，大手牽小手，增加國際競爭力。

首先，由蔡校長介紹左營國中對於學生程度不一致的解決方法。將學生分為三階段：拔尖、中間、扶弱，尤其對於扶弱學生進行補救教學，由文藻學生對他們進行一對一教學。蔡校長談到他認為轉變孩童的學習心態、並建立良好的教學關係是非常重要的。

接著，立德國中洪校長談到以往的課程皆是為中間程度學生設計，導致頂尖與扶弱學生無心聽課。文藻學生到立德國中幫忙培養頂尖學生的國際觀、聽說能力、英文文學素養，對弱勢學生則幫助他們提升英語程度，並加強閱讀能力，在回到課堂時能吸收課程內容與教學進度。為了銜接大專院校，新課綱上注重學童的多元發展以及學習。教材、教學方式不同以往，讓學童養成論述、思辯、比較及邏輯推理的能力。期待USR能作為開端，成功改變目前的學習狀況，讓教學更有希望。

第三位講者旗山國小李校長，將12年國教課綱結合在地歷史、文化。利用AR & VR創新的課程，培育孩子人文傳承與自然永續的意識。旗山國小採用「四創」概念看課程，包含創意革新、共務實建、創用實踐、知識共創。李校長倡導在課程設計時應將科目互相融合，採多學科整合取向，讓學生對知識有全面的了解，並培育利用學科本質解決問題的能力。

壓軸的河堤國小王校長談到河堤國小與文藻的緣分，因地緣關係緊密，於2014年河堤國小創校時，教育部政次、前文藻副校長蔡清華邀請河堤國小的學生前往文藻操場舉辦小型運動會，自此便開啟了兩校間頻繁的往來：文藻到河堤辦理國際教育闖關活動、文藻英語讀寫班、文藻學生擔任晨光補救教學志工等。

最後，身為河堤國小家長的英文系外籍教師陳蓮娜（Elena Yakovleva Chen）與王校長合影。每位校長都帶來了創新的教育理念與對於各國中小的展望，期許自己身為教育者能為下一代的學童帶來一線曙光。

Principal Tsai Chihwen from Kaohsiung Municipal Zuoying Junior High School, Principal Hung Juikai from Kaohsiung Municipal Lide Junior High School, Principal Wang Kuotsun from Kaohsiung Heti Elementary School, and Principal Li Wensheng from Qishan Elementary School visited Wenzao and actively discussed with 42 professors from various departments of Wenzao, by the facilitation of USR WHC leader Professor Melody Liao of the Department of International Business Administration on how to link the syllabus of elementary and junior high schools to colleges and universities, so that students of different levels who are studying in Taiwan can increase their international competitiveness by win-win collaboration.

First, Principal Tsai introduced Zuoying Junior High’s solution to the inconsistency of student levels. The school divide students into three groups: top-notch, middle, and the weak groups. Remedial teaching is carried out, and Wenzao students will teach the weak students through one-on-one consultation. Principal Tsai talked about his belief that it is very important to change children’s learning mentality and establish a good teaching relationship.

Next, the Principal from Lide Junior High School, Hung Juikai, mentioned that the previous courses were designed for intermediate level students, which caused the top and weak students to be unwilling to listen to the class. Wenzao students can help these students cultivate global vision, improve listening and speaking skills, and strengthen their reading skills through English literature. Therefore, when these students return to the classroom, they will be more motivated and absorb the course content. In order to link up with colleges and universities, the new syllabus focuses on the diversified development of students. The textbooks and teaching methods are different from the past, allowing students to develop the ability of argumentation, speculation, comparison, and logical reasoning. Principal Hung look forward to USR as a starting point to successfully change the current learning situation and make teaching more promising.

The third speaker, Principal Li from Qishan Elementary School, combined Artificial Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in the 12-year education curriculum with local history and culture. He uses innovative courses to cultivate children’s awareness of humanistic inheritance and natural sustainability. Qishan Elementary School adopts the concept of “four innovations”, including creative innovation, co-construction, creativity and practice, and knowledge co-creation. President Li advocated that subjects should be integrated in curriculum design, and multi-disciplinary integration orientation should be adopted to allow students to have a comprehensive understanding of knowledge and cultivate the ability to use the essence of the subject to solve problems.

Lastly, Principal Wang from nearby Heti Elementary School talked about the predetermined binding force through the Deputy Minister of Education, the former Vice President of Wenzao Qinghua Tsai, who invited the students from Heti Elementary School to the Wenzao’s sports field to hold a small School Sports Day back in 2014. Since then, the two schools have been frequent contacts, for example, Wenzao went to Heti elementary school to hold international education activities, English reading and writing class, and remedial teaching activities, etc…

Finally, Dr. Elena Yakovleva Chen, one of the parents from Heti Elementary and Russian national, took a photo with Principal Wang for her son. From this seminar, hundreds of possibilities of innovative educational collaboration across all levels can bring a glimmer of light to the next generation of students.
