USR小螺絲釘主持團隊共識營

五月中旬台灣的新冠肺炎疫情比較舒緩，白色巨塔的小螺絲釘 usr計畫團隊，舉辦了計畫主持人團隊共識營，共識營在高雄旗山國小舉辦，除了回顧過去五個月的計畫執行情況，也藉由共識營凝聚團隊共識，策劃後續計畫推動的藍圖。本年度擔任計畫執行的七位主持人均參與了本次的共識營，七位主持人透過彼此生命故事的分享，不但成為服務工作的同工，也成為人生旅途中互相扶持的心靈夥伴。在共識營當中也討論了深碗及微型服務學習的課程，重新定位上下學期課程的特色，上學期深碗課程以口筆譯課程為主，下學期深碗課程則以英語教學為主，並都搭配服務領導及影片製作等課程。微型課程則搭配各主持人所開相關專業課程，透過微型課程協助學生參與計畫場域的服務工作。本次共識營在三天兩夜的研習中，也參與了計畫團隊在旗山國小所舉辦的英語學習營隊，除了參與開幕式及閉幕式，也和擔任志工的學生有許多互動，更能實地觀察學生的服務學習成效。透過共識營的交流及溝通，七位主持人更具有向心力，也願意彼此結伴，共同為新住民及移工的就醫服務努力，展現文藻外語大學實踐社會責任的使命。小螺絲釘主持團隊共識營 English

WHC-USR Project Hosts Consensus Camp

In mid May when Covid-19 Pandemic gradually declined in its development in Taiwan, the WHC-USR Team held a consensus camp for all of its project hosts in Cishan Elementary School, not only to review the execution of these projects in the past five months but also to sketch a blueprint for the following projects. The seven hosts of this year all participated in the camp and by sharing essence of their individual life, they became supportive partners for services and kindred souls on life’s journey.

In the consensus camp, the two USR courses for service learning were closely examined, so as to redefine the features for each semester. In the first semester, the “Deep Bowl” course will specialize in interpreting and translation, while in the second semester, teaching of English, both including service leadership and video-making technology. The micro-course will function as an extension for professional courses offered by related project hosts or teachers in providing various fields to assist students in exercising their volunteer services.

During the three-day workshop, project hosts were also deeply engaged in the WHC-USR English Camp held at Cishan Elementary School. They attended the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, interacted with student volunteers, and observed the performance of student volunteers’ service learning. Through frequent exchange and effective communication in the consensus camp, the seven hosts developed camaraderie, and gladly accompanied each other in their joint efforts on healthcare communication for new residents and migrant workers to fulfill university social responsibilities.
