USR國際志工甄選面試 by Janny Yun-Fang Sun

歷時兩周的國際志工甄選面試在今天(3/25)圓滿落幕了! 此次共有9位同學參與面試，儘管因疫情影響有可能無法成行，三位面試官-翁一珍老師、孫韵芳老師及梅馨云老師深深地為學生們的服務熱情而感動。此次面試全程英文，學生們需先用英文自我介紹及說明申請國際志工的動機、接著給予情境讓學生3個一組在3分鐘內討論出所設定情境的結果，最後以了解學生是否能適應當地文化做結尾。每個參與面試的同學都卯足全力將最好的一面呈現給面試官們。在這因疫情所導致的情緒緊繃，也因這群充滿熱情的國際志工們舒緩了許多。 Two weeks of international volunteer interview have come to the end on March 25th, 2020. There were 9 students participated in the interview, although the service in Cambodia may be cancelled because of COVID-19, the three interviewers-Janet、Janny and Angie were touched by students warm heart. The interview were conducted in English, students need to introduce themselves and state their motivation to join the international volunteer, followed by a problem solving situation where students were group in 3 and have 3 minutes to discuss for the solution then report the result, finally students were asked about how they would fit into local culture. All participants have shown their best to the interviewers, it is sure a good relieve for all of us to see these enthusiastic international volunteer to be during this tensed period caused by COVID-19.
