2020 柬埔寨國際志工招募辦法 (2020 Cambodia International Volunteer Recruiting Announcement)

一、計畫說明(Project Description) 「溫暖白色巨塔的小螺絲釘－文藻國際志工共創就醫無障礙」USR社會實踐計畫，從文藻出發，結合鄰近文藻之醫療院所資源及跨校跨領域合作，並充份發揮文藻外語能力暨國際化的優勢，推動多國語國際醫療志工專業服務、創作多國語故事繪本及文宣品，以及執行第三年的國際志工服務，希冀共創「醫療無國界，就醫無障礙」的願景。本計畫藉由正式課程、非正式課程，以及專業服務，帶領文藻師生與社區/國際組織合作，以增進專業實務及職能，同時落實大學社會責任，增進學生服務社會的價值觀，培育世界公民的國際視野。 “The Tiny Screws of the Clockworks in the Towering Hospital – Wenzao International Volunteers for Borderless Medical Care Access” is a Wenzao-sponsored USR program that seeks to combine the bountiful resources of local medical institutions, with the multifaceted and specialized skillset of students at Wenzao University. The goal is to create an interscholastic platform that makes full use of the students’ broad spectrum of language skills and abilities. These students will then be given the unique opportunity to try their hand in the multidisciplinary world of international volunteer medical services. They will work to create a package of multilingual storybooks with instruction and promotion texts, and will be instrumental in the implementation of the volunteer program’s third year. The hope is to help achieve the program’s overall vision of “medical care that is both accessible, and without borders”.

二、執行時間 ( Timeframe) 預計2020年8月2日到8月10日 (實際日期待確認後公布) The service is expected to be conducted from August 2nd to 10th (the actual date will be announced after final confirmation).

三、服務地點( Service Location) 柬埔寨茶膠省村莊 Takéo Province in the southwest of Cambodia.

四、招募對象( Talents to Be Recruited) 108-2學期修習深碗課程之學生，具備良好的溝通表達、環境適應、團隊合作能力。 We are looking for candidates who have enrolled in the International Service Learning and Leadership course during the 108-2 Semester. Students with good communication skills, ability to adapt to new environments, and team work skills are highly recommended.

五、費用 (Cost) 1.旅費包括來回機票、住宿、膳食、交通、文化探索(金邊) Overall costs include round-trip airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation, as well as cultural expeditions to surrounding destinations such as Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, etc.

2.參與學生須自行負擔1萬元整，超過1萬元的部分將由學校及教育部USR補助 Students participating in the volunteer program will be required to pay a flat fee of NT$10,000. Any further remaining expenditure will be covered by the school, as well as the USR program itself.

六、國際志工任務( International Volunteer Tasks)

1.協助醫療團隊當地村莊衛生教育宣導工作 Assist local medical teams to help promote health education in the village.

2.執行當地村莊學校衛生教育主題營隊活動 Work with village schools to create camp activities of health education.

3.執行當地村莊學校課後語言輔導課程活動 Partner with village schools to host after-school tutoring sessions.

  1. 返國後協助舉辦國際志工服務分享活動 Assist to hold sharing activities after returning from overseas service.

七、其他有利條件(請附上佐證資料) The following items are recommended, but not required. (Please attach any supporting documents)

  1. 修習過國際專業服務領導課程 Completion of either of the two school-sponsored mini-courses entitled “Business Management and Professional Services Studies: Medical Service Marketing and Management” (one credit) (#1072 or #1081).

  2. 具國際志工經驗 International volunteer experience

  3. 具教學服務或營隊經驗 Experience in teaching or organizing camps.

  4. 曾參加USR領導力先備營(2018年6月30-2018年7月2日) Participation in the USR Leadership Pilot Camp (held in 2018 from June 30th – July 2nd).

  5. 曾參加USR愛心園遊會攤位服務(2019年12月14日) Participation in the USR Booth service at Wenzao Garden Fair (held on December 14th, 2019).

八、評分標準 Criteria for Review 1.書面資料審查(申請書(詳如留言之表格)、自傳、履歷、英檢成績、相關有利佐證資料等). 40% Application package (including application form, autobiography, resume, results of English proficiency tests, and other relevant supplemental materials, such as teaching materials or design works.) 40%.

2.全英語面試 English Interview. 60%

九、申請日期與方式 Application Method and Due Date

  1. 即日起至109年03月13日(星期五)下午17時止 Applications will be accepted from now to March 13, 2020 by 17:00.

  2. 請列印所有申請資料一式三份，繳交至USR辦公室至善樓Z325 Prospective applicants must turn in three printed copies of all submitted materials to the USR Office (Z325).

十、面試時間與地點 Time and Venue for Interview 109年3月18日(星期三) 下午15點-17點 至善樓: Z1209 & Z1208會議室 Interviews will be held in Z1208 and Z1209 from 3:00 ~5:00 pm. on March 18 (Wednesday), 2020.
